Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has declared Friday, July 29, 2022, work-free for civil servants within the state to allow them to register to vote within the subsequent common election.
This was contained in a press release signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Thursday.
Ajakaye mentioned that the vacation comes because the INEC closes the continual voter registration train on July 31, subsequent week Monday.
“His Excellency urges the folks of Kwara State, particularly the civil servants, to take full benefit of the vacation to carry out their civic responsibility of registering to vote”, the assertion mentioned.
